Peopleofriverfest.com provides you with a true insight as to what the riverfest is all about... a bunch of fat, sunburned, poorly dressed idiots wandering around downtown Wichita. Most businesses of the downtown area would agree - this is truly an embarrassment. (at least it's funny)

Mr. Benjamin Siebert will moving to Austin, TX at the beginning of this summer. He'll be working with Jason Brooks at his shop, Great Wave Tattoo. We'll miss him dearly, but we're very excited for him and this amazing opportunity! If you have unfinished work from Ben, you still have time to catch him before he moves. This certainly will not be the last we'll see of him. Ben will be coming back up to Wichita to work periodically. Tattoos that look like tattoos!

Amongst the many tattoos that were put on here at Hell Bomb last week, a few of them were actually 'tattoos'! At least by a tattooers standard. It's refreshing to have customers who say, "Do your thing, man, I like your work.", and mean it. Take a lesson from these exceptions to the rule. Leave it to the experts... and you will never be dissapointed.

This is just an FYI. If you live in Wichita, don't waste your time emailing us about price quotes. Drive your ass down to the shop where we'd be more than happy to help you out with your tattoo needs. If you're from out of town, email is appropriate and necessary. We've been getting slammed with questions about price quotes... and we're not playing that game. If your only interest is the cheapest price, then seek help elsewhere. We know our place on the totem of local shops. We don't run specials or give discounts. You'll find the highest quality here at Hell Bomb... We'll leave the bargain tattooing to the amateurs and kitchen magicians. That said, come get tattooed!

It's been an excellent week here at the shop! A lot of people have been using their holiday time wisely and coming down to the shop to get tattooed. Black Friday is upon us and we are very grateful to work in a non-retail environment.

Indelible Tattoo Art Show... Success!!!

Thanks to everyone who made it out for the Indelible show last weekend! The turnout was amazing and we had a great time. A special thanks to Brad Ruder at Tangent Lab for hosting the show making it a grand success! We'd also like to thank Ian Stewart and all the contributing artist for their submissions, we wouldn't have a show without you. Holy shit! It's been a minute since our last post. Our family at the tattoo shop has doubled in size. Our long time friend Kevin Wathke from Topeka, KS has joined our full-time roster. Another long time pal of ours hailing from Florida, Andy Bolin, is also slaying it at Hell Bomb now. And last but not least, is Megan Shelton from right here in Wichita! The shop has been super busy lately and everyone has been tattooing like crazy. It's been really great to be able to do a lot of custom work on so many positive people. Even our counter-guy, Jordon has been getting crazy with the art-making! Special thanks to Jordon for helping the shop so much during this busy season and keeping us all sane (relatively speaking). Ben and I just got back in town from the Jet City Tattoo Expo. Hat's off to Jasper and Tim for putting together a great show. Everyone had a blast working and hanging out. Not to mention, it took place in one of the nicest casinos I've ever been to. Also, a big thanks to our friends at Triumph Tattoo for putting us up. The people in Washington know how to get tattooed! Benjamin "Dagger Cats" Siebert, has done it again! This is his rendition of a classic Jerry Collins design from the 1960's. You can't go wrong with tradition.

Benjamin has been a bit reluctant in adopting his recent moniker. As no surprise to us, tattooers worldwide have embraced it. Only time will tell whether or not it will stick. If you happen to see him out on the town, make sure to holla at "dagger cats".

You may not believe it, but here at Hell Bomb Tattoo, we create much more than tattoos. We even create art that's not of the "tattoo art" genre! For those of you Wichitans that may frequent the downtown area for drinks and other activities, come check out some of our new works! Our good friends at the Alibi Room were kind enough to let us display our art. Even if you hate the art, I can guarantee you'll love the bar. Great people and a superb atmosphere. They're located at 919 E. Douglas in Old Town. Above are a few previews... (art will be hanging until the end of Jan.)

There's nothing like some new flooring to get you pumped up! (and yes, I say that seriously) Especially in a tattoo parlour. If only we could get the exterior of the building to look as nice as the inside, but these things take time. It's our goal to create an environment that's inspiring for us as artists, as well as comfortable for our clients. Nothing's worse than coping with a painful experience while in unpleasant surroundings. Besides, our schizophrenic taste in music is probably enough to keep most people feeling loose anyway. Keeping it classy, one day at a time.

In an attempt to stay in touch with anyone who may care... we here at Hell Bomb Tattoo have decided to go the blog route instead of a traditional website. It's easier and more likely to be updated. Hopefully we'll be able to keep things fresh, but as we are tattooers, we do have a tendency to be a bit flakey. We're artists, give us a break.

Things are starting to get a bit busier around the shop, so be sure to stop in soon to make your appointments to spend your tax return money! What better way to treat yourself, right?

We'd also like to take this opportunity to introduce one of our best friends, Larry Keith. Larry is a permanent fixture here at Hell Bomb.
